CIBCOMMS commissioned me to come up with a different approach for a video to showcase the property portfolio of their client British Land.
The British Land Company is one of the largest property development and investment companies in the United Kingdom, owning office complexes at Broadgate, The Leadenhall Building or ‘Cheese Grater’, Regent’s Place and Paddington Central in London and Shopping Centres including Whiteley in Hampshire and and Meadowhall in Sheffield.
We decided to use UAV’s – small remote controlled flying drones that carry an HD video camera to get a unique perspective on these iconic buildings.
I was tasked with organising the various shoots, gaining permissions and direction, as well as editing the final aerial footage with B-roll that I had shot on the ground and existing footage. I recorded the voice over with CEO, Chris Grigg and we combined this with motion tracked text that pick out key facts and figures.
